Fernglade Reserve
Fernglade Reserve is a popular recreation and conservation area on the North West Coast of Tasmania. The reserve is located less than 5km from the Burnie city centre. It boasts an array of plant, native bird and wildlife species. Fernglade Reserve encompasses almost 45 acres of conserved land lining the Emu River.

About Fernglade
The reserve is open from 7:30am til Dusk.
To find Fernglade reserve, turn left off of the Bass Hwy, onto Old Surrey Road, then take the first left onto Fernglade Road. There are 2 carparks at Fernglade, the first on your right as you cross the bridge on Fernglade Road and the second about 200m further along the road, also on your right.

- Leave facilities clean after use.
- Firearms and bicycles are not permitted in the reserve.
- The use of enclosed traps for fishing in Fernglade Reserve and all inland Tasmanian waters is a fineable offence.
- Bringing dogs into Fernglade Reserve is a fineable offence.
